At Signature Salon.Spa our spa services take place towards the back of our building along the Animas River. We don’t overwhelm you with treatments with crazy names or those made up by marketing people in some corporate headquarters. We are a local spa, staffed by local talent. The streamlined massage treatments offered at Signature have been carefully selected because they work. When therapists are not required to remember a hundred different types of treatments, they can focus on doing a few very well. That said, if you have a favorite element to a treatment you have experienced in the past, we want to hear about it and find out if we should add it to our repertoire.
Signature Spa treatments take place in eight rooms that are named for the famous rivers and creeks of our area, including the Colorado, Rio Grande, Animas, San Juan, Cascade, Junction, La Plata, and Lightner. These simple and elegant rooms offer privacy for your chosen treatment. Three of these rooms overlook the Animas River (The Rio Grande Room is our Couples Treatment Room) with windows that reveal bald eagles nesting, hawks resting, and the both calm and mighty flow of the Animas River. All treatments scheduled for Signature Spa include the use of our private locker rooms and relaxation area with fantastic river views. Spa refreshments are unique to each season and are complimentary.
Our massage appointments can be linked with Skin Treatments or with hair and nail professionals in Signature Salon.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. We will provide you with a robe, slippers and a locker key so that you may enjoy time in our relaxing locker rooms (men’s or women’s) and/or the relaxation areas. New guests will need to complete a guest consultation form.
Our locker rooms have showers, sauna and restroom facilities, as well as hair dryers and other spa amenities you would expect. Keys are provided on a convenient wristlet to be carried with you for security.
You are welcome to use the rooftop patio with a spectacular river view. (If the roof top is booked for a private event, this amenity might not be available. Please inquire when you make your appointments.)
We use integrative body work to incorporate the most comprehensive healing techniques for your body’s needs. Being well-informed about your specific needs is always a great way to begin the massage therapist-client relationship. Please tell us what you are comfortable telling us.
